A mock trial competition was held at Trafford Middle School for its gifted students on November 15. The event was organized by the Penn-Trafford High School Mock Trial students, and students from both Penn and Trafford Middle Schools competed. Dr. Lynn Eckberg is the students’ gifted teacher.
The winning team consisted of sixth-graders Eli Kreidler, Elsie Ley, Grady Swartz, and Chloe Yun and seventh-graders Matthew Phipps and Alex Serapiglia.
Ava Simpson (grade 8) and Matthew Phipps (7) were named Best Attorneys, and Chloe Yun (Grade 6) and Madi Gavrish (grade 7) were named Best Witnesses.
