Trafford Middle School students participated in the school’s monthly Career Cafe in November. The program features a different job topic each month and a presentation by a local career spokesperson.
November’s guest speaker was Michael Spena, a Mechanical Engineer at FS-Elliott Company. Mr. Spena shared with the students how he chose his career path, his education, the variety of different pathways that can be taken as a mechanical engineer, and the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the engineering field. Mr. Spena included a question and answer portion and gave away prizes to the students who were able to answer some of his questions about the presentation.
All students at Trafford Middle School were given the opportunity to attend the presentation during their lunch period.
