Guest Speaker Mesmerizes Trafford 8th-Graders

Following lessons on the French and Indian War and the American Revolutionary War, Mrs. Lockwood's 8th-grade US History class at Trafford Middle School welcomed a local Native American, Todd "Ghost in Head" Johnson.

The students were extremely attentive and engaged as they listened to Ghost share details about the attire, traditions, and customs of the Huron tribe.  They were equally excited to touch and try on the many artifacts that Ghost brought along with him.

Students were able to appreciate cultural differences as they listened to Ghost share Native American uses for many things in nature, as well as how his tribe was able to survive and thrive in its environment.
