Students Collaborate At County Chorus

Penn-Trafford elementary and middle school musicians took part in the WCMEA County Chorus on March 7th under the direction of Norwin music teacher, Mrs. Jennifer Herrington.  The event, held at Yough Intermediate School, featured students from across Westmoreland County.  Participants practiced all day to perfect their singing, dancing, and sign language for the evening concert.

Music teachers Miss Taylor Powell, Mrs. Renee Rumbaugh, and Ms. Andrea Frescura accompanied the Penn-Trafford students.  “Singing in a choir festival is more than just making music—it's about coming together, finding your voice, and creating something bigger than yourself,” commented Frescura.
